Usability Tester Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Usability Tester to join our remote team in Denver, CO on a contract basis. The Usability Tester will play a key role in evaluating the overall user experience and functionality of our digital products, including web and mobile applications. By providing insightful and actionable feedback, the Usability Tester will help drive improvements and ensure our platforms meet the highest standards of quality and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing scenarios across a variety of mobile and web platforms to ensure optimal user experience.
- Systematically document bugs, glitches, and user experience issues, providing clear and concise reports that facilitate efficient problem resolution.
- Collaborate closely with software development and design teams to communicate findings, share feedback, and support the incorporation of recommended improvements.
- Verify the consistent performance of software features across multiple devices, browsers, and screen sizes, identifying compatibility and accessibility issues as needed.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing usability testing results, including actionable recommendations for enhancement.
- Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to following structured testing instructions.
- Comfort and proficiency with remote work tools and platforms, along with familiarity in various app ecosystems.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, usability testing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device suitable for testing and reporting purposes.
