Usability Tester Job OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Usability Tester to join our quality assurance (QA) team. This is a remote, full-time opportunity based out of Albuquerque, NM, designed for professionals who are passionate about enhancing user experiences and optimizing digital platforms. As a Usability Tester, you will play a vital role in evaluating the functionality and user-friendliness of our apps and websites, helping to ensure an exceptional end-user experience. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough usability testing scenarios across both mobile and web platforms to identify and document areas for improvement.
- Record and communicate bugs, glitches, and user experience pain points in a clear, organized manner to assist the development team in prioritizing fixes and enhancements.
- Work closely with developers and other QA team members to provide actionable feedback and suggestions that drive product improvements.
- Verify that software features and functionalities operate consistently across multiple devices, browsers, and screen sizes, ensuring accessibility and usability for all users.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily or weekly reports summarizing findings, issues encountered, and recommendations for resolving usability concerns.
- Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to following structured testing instructions and scenarios.
- Proficiency with remote working tools and a good understanding of various app ecosystems and digital platforms.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, usability testing, user experience research, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Dependable internet connection, along with access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device capable of running testing scenarios effectively.
