Key Responsibilities
- Develop qualified leads and schedule appointments to engage with potential and existing clients.
- Assess and identify customer needs to recommend and market appropriate insurance products and services, including property and casualty coverage.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with consistent follow-up and support.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, addressing inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, policy changes, coverage options, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve agency goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
License Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty (P&C) license required in California, Arizona, or Oregon prior to start date.
- Willingness to obtain P&C licensing in all three states: CA, AZ, and OR. The process is straightforward and does not require an additional exam; reimbursement for licensing fees is available after a 90-day probation.
- Remote work is considered for candidates with an active Property and Casualty license in Arizona or Oregon.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous insurance sales experience or prior licensing in Property & Casualty and Life/Health (L/H) is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals or quotas.
- Sales experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is a plus.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective multitasking skills to manage various customer needs and administrative tasks.
- Excellent relationship-building skills to connect with a diverse customer base.
- Life & Health license and bilingual abilities are preferred but not required.
