As a Registered Nurse RN in the PCU, IMC, or Stepdown setting, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients who require ongoing assessment and intervention. This role involves working closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery. Duties & Responsibilities- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall condition, responding promptly to changes and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Administer prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments while observing patient responses and documenting care activities accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about disease processes, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions to support optimal health outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional education to maintain clinical competence.

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree accepted with relevant experience.
- Previous experience in PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or similar acute care settings strongly preferred.
- Current certifications required by the facility, such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
