Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU/IMC/Stepdown Summary- Provide specialized nursing care in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), or Stepdown settings
- Work collaboratively with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff
- Utilize advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Support patient recovery and transition from higher acuity care
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status using advanced clinical assessment tools and protocols
- Develop and implement evidence-based nursing care plans tailored to each patient
- Administer medications, therapies, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, interventions, and post-discharge instructions
- Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings
- Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are followed at all times

- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), or Stepdown strongly preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
