Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU/IMC/Stepdown Summary- Deliver advanced nursing care to patients in Progressive Care, Intermediate Care, and Stepdown units
- Monitor patient progress and adapt care plans based on clinical assessments
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and recovery processes
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patient conditions and document findings in the medical record
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies accurately and safely
- Respond promptly to any changes in patient status, initiating appropriate interventions
- Coordinate discharge planning and participate in care transitions as needed
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families
