Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Summary- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Intermediate Care, and Stepdown settings.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and support recovery.
- Utilize clinical knowledge to monitor patient progress and intervene as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date credentials and certifications with support from Openwork Health.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and clinical status in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in accordance with facility standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Educate patients and families regarding ongoing care, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
- Support the safe transition of patients from higher levels of care to the PCU or from the PCU to lower levels of care.

- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Intermediate Care, or Stepdown nursing preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications may be preferred based on facility requirements.
