Registered Nurse (RN) – MedSurg Ortho Summary- Provide direct patient care to individuals with medical and orthopedic needs in a MedSurg setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult patients with complex medical and orthopedic conditions.
- Monitor patients’ progress, administer medications, and perform routine procedures as required.
- Provide patient education and support to both patients and their families regarding treatments, recovery processes, and health maintenance.
- Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Adhere to infection control policies, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and critical changes in patient conditions.
- Participate in shift handoffs, team meetings, and interdisciplinary rounds.

- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in a Medical-Surgical and/or Orthopedic nursing environment preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) are a plus.
