In this full-time role, the Registered Nurse (RN) – Family Practice will collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care. The position involves conducting physical exams and health histories, administering medications and treatments, providing patient education, and responding to emergent clinical situations. The Registered Nurse (RN) – Family Practice will also supervise and direct other healthcare personnel, ensuring care assignments are appropriate to their scope of practice and skill level. Registered Nurse (RN) – Family Practice Summary
- Full-time position providing comprehensive nursing care in a family practice outpatient clinic.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations and detailed health histories for patients in the family practice clinic.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols and physician orders.
- Provide comprehensive patient education and counseling related to health conditions, medications, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to emergent patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare staff, ensuring adherence to scope of practice regulations and safety standards.
- Perform telephonic and in-person assessments and evaluations to determine optimal patient management and follow-up care strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, infection control policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Actively participate in telehealth nursing services as required by the clinic and patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in electronic health records.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/ALS).
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 24 months of full-time experience in an Adult Primary Care Outpatient clinic within the last five years.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
