Registered Nurse – CVICU (RN) Summary- Deliver specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
- Utilize advanced clinical skills and critical thinking in a dynamic, high-acuity setting
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients with complex cardiac and vascular diagnoses
- Administer medications, IVs, and specialized cardiac treatments
- Operate and interpret data from advanced medical equipment, such as ventilators and cardiac monitors
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare team members
- Provide education, support, and advocacy for patients and their families
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and procedures

- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of one year of recent CVICU or critical care nursing experience
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress, rapidly changing environments
- Experienced in cardiovascular or intensive care nursing
