Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab (RN – Cath Lab) Summary- Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Support patient assessment, monitoring, and recovery in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Utilize advanced clinical skills and critical thinking to respond to patient needs and emergencies
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including patient education and informed consent
- Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall condition before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications as ordered and assist with procedural sedation
