Registered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant (RN-BMT) Summary- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing bone marrow or stem cell transplantation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Support patients and families throughout the transplant process with empathy and professionalism.
- Administer medications, blood products, and chemotherapy as prescribed.
- Monitor patients for complications or adverse reactions related to transplantation.
- Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on post-transplant care and recovery expectations.
- Coordinate care with physicians, transplant coordinators, and allied health professionals.
- Maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards for infection prevention and patient safety.
