The Regional Director of Operations is a highly influential leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple restaurant locations within a designated region. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire restaurant teams and store leaders to achieve operational excellence across multiple locations.
- Engage directly with units and team leaders, providing hands-on support and strategic direction in the field.
- Hold all levels of leadership accountable for maintaining brand standards, ensuring consistency and quality across the region.
- Mentor and develop all positions within the organization, fostering engagement, professional growth, and a strong team culture.
- Support, reinforce, and align decisions with the organization’s unique culture and values.
- Assist General Managers in delivering outstanding guest experiences by upholding service and food quality standards.
- Train and develop General Managers, manage their career expectations, and clearly communicate organizational goals and standards.
- Oversee the execution of company programs, including restaurant marketing, talent development, and recruitment initiatives.
- Develop and manage business planning processes collaboratively with General Managers, analyzing both internal and external factors to enhance operational performance.
- Assume full responsibility for financial performance, including detailed financial analysis of individual restaurants and the overall district, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Manage all aspects of restaurant EBITDA, including budgeting, financial planning, and performance monitoring.
- Analyze business trends and financial data to drive improvements in both operational effectiveness and financial outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in multi-unit management with a demonstrated record of operational and financial success.
- Strong expertise in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance.
- Proven proficiency in staffing, team development, and achieving results in a multi-location environment.
- Familiarity with labor laws and compliance requirements relevant to the hospitality industry.
