Receptionist Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Receptionist to join our team at a State Farm independent agent's office in Savannah, GA. Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls professionally and efficiently, directing them to the appropriate team members as needed.
- Handle billing inquiries and provide support for a variety of administrative tasks related to insurance accounts.
- Address customer complaints by identifying solutions and alternatives within specified timeframes, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, process updates to customer accounts, and file important documents securely.
- Provide accurate information about products and services, assisting customers in resolving any issues related to their accounts with efficiency and care.
Qualifications
- Willingness to obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license as required by position and regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent phone etiquette, with the ability to actively listen and respond to customer needs.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for helping customers and providing solutions to their inquiries and concerns.
- Ability to empathize with and advocate for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and ongoing support.
- Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficiently.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with office software and systems for data entry and communication.
