Key Responsibilities- Interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray (XR), computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography (Mammo), and ultrasound (US).
- Focus on breast imaging, providing accurate and timely mammography interpretations and supporting the early detection and diagnosis of breast conditions.
- Work part-time, covering 5–7 shifts per month, with each shift lasting 8 hours, ensuring consistent workflow and patient care.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive diagnostic insights and recommendations.
- Utilize temporary credentialing privileges as needed, with the process typically completed in about 10 days.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of patient safety and confidentiality.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, with Board Certification in Radiology.
- Strongly preferred: Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) certification for interpreting mammograms.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Michigan.
- Demonstrated experience in breast imaging, with the ability to interpret a variety of imaging modalities such as XR, CT, MRI, Mammo, and US.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative clinical environment.
