Radiologist – Diagnostic & Mammography (Remote, Locum Tenens) Job OverviewOptigy is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist (MD/DO) for a locum tenens, part-time, fully remote opportunity specializing in diagnostic and mammography imaging. This telemedicine position is based in West Macomb, MI, and offers a flexible schedule for professionals interested in providing radiology services from a remote setting. As a Radiologist with expertise in diagnostic and mammography imaging, you will join a team focused on delivering high-quality patient care through advanced telehealth technology. This opportunity provides exposure to a diverse modality mix, making it ideal for Radiologists seeking consistent telemedicine work and the convenience of working from home.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret diagnostic radiology and mammography studies including XR, CT, MRI, Mammo, and Ultrasound (US).
- Provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive written reports for each case.
- Collaborate with referring healthcare providers to assist in patient diagnosis and management.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to access, review, and report on imaging studies securely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards, professional guidelines, and organizational policies.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other relevant privacy regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance activities as required by Optigy and governing medical boards.

- Location: West Macomb, MI (fully remote work environment)
- Schedule: 14 shifts per month with each shift lasting 8 hours
- Modality Mix: XR, CT, MRI, Mammography, and Ultrasound
- Credentialing: Temporary privileges are typically processed within approximately 10 days
