Quality Engineer - Summary
- Serve as a key member of the quality team, overseeing and improving product and process quality within a manufacturing environment.
- Work collaboratively with production, supplier, and customer interfaces to ensure compliance with quality standards and continuous process improvement.
- Utilize industry best practices and advanced quality tools to drive effective solutions and sustained performance improvements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead closed-loop problem-solving initiatives using 8D/A3 methodologies, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness.
- Implement, maintain, and improve shop-floor quality systems to meet rigorous shipping and product requirements.
- Plan and execute detailed process and product audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Verify and document the effectiveness of corrective actions, ensuring sustained improvements across production and supplier processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in all aspects of the manufacturing process.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Thorough understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards; internal auditor certification is preferred.
- Proficient in quality tools and methodologies, including 8D/A3 problem solving, PFMEA, control plans, Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and corrective action systems.
