As a Quality Control Laboratory Analyst (QC Analyst), you will be responsible for conducting routine and specialized analytical testing on both raw materials and finished products. Quality Control Laboratory Analyst (QC Analyst) - Summary
- Conducts analytical and quality control testing on raw materials and finished products.
- Ensures products meet stringent internal and customer quality standards.
- Maintains detailed documentation for all laboratory procedures and results.
- Works in a full-time capacity at a leading polymer manufacturing facility in Pasadena, TX.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of quality control testing, including tests for appearance, moisture, flow rate, density, pH, color, CSR/FSR, particle size distribution (PSD), and odor.
- Prepare chemical reagents and solutions according to laboratory protocols.
- Calibrate instruments such as pH meters and analytical devices, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze test results, compare findings to specifications, and report any out-of-specification (OOS) results.
- Document all data in both written and digital formats, ensuring traceability and compliance.
- Oversee the release and handling of incoming raw materials, including proper disposal procedures where necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment at all times.
- Assist with additional laboratory tasks as assigned to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or analytical laboratory, preferably in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial setting.
- Demonstrated experience with analytical testing of raw materials and finished goods.
- Familiarity with instrument calibration and laboratory documentation best practices.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and quality protocols.
- Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule as required by laboratory operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field preferred.
- Experience in chemical, polymer, plastics, or industrial manufacturing laboratories is highly valued.
