Based in Santa Clarita, CA, this role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of the software development lifecycle, ensuring that our digital platforms deliver a seamless and reliable user experience. As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards for both mobile and web applications by identifying usability issues and collaborating with development teams to resolve them.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough usability and functionality testing for mobile applications and websites, following structured test scenarios and protocols.
- Identify, document, and communicate bugs, glitches, and any user experience challenges with clear and concise reporting.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional development and product teams to discuss findings, ensure mutual understanding of issues, and help prioritize fixes.
- Verify that software features work consistently across a range of devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure accessibility and compatibility for all users.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily or weekly reports summarizing test results, key findings, and actionable recommendations for platform improvements.
- Keen attention to detail and a strong ability to follow structured procedures and instructions in a remote working environment.
- Experience with and proficiency in remote working tools and platforms commonly used in software testing and communication.
- Familiarity with mobile and web app ecosystems, with a preference for candidates who have prior experience in quality assurance, user testing, or related technical fields.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and the necessary hardware, such as a desktop, laptop, or mobile device, to effectively perform all job functions.
