Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester) Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester) to join our remote team on a project-based employment type. The Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester) will play a pivotal role in evaluating the functionality and user experience of our digital products, including both web and mobile applications. The primary objective of this role is to ensure our platforms meet high standards of quality, usability, and reliability across various devices, operating systems, and browsers. Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios for web and mobile platforms to identify areas for improvement.
- Thoroughly document bugs, glitches, and user experience pain points by providing clear and concise descriptions for the development team.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to communicate identified issues, offer feedback, and support the resolution of defects.
- Verify that all software features function correctly across diverse devices, browsers, and screen sizes, ensuring a consistent user experience for all audiences.
- Generate and submit detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing testing results, findings, and actionable recommendations for product enhancements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow structured testing instructions and protocols.
- Experience and comfort with remote collaboration tools, as well as a general familiarity with today’s diverse app ecosystems.
- Prior experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and to one or more current desktop computers, laptops, or mobile devices capable of running the software under test.
