IDR is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer (QA Engineer) to support one of our top clients in the Healthcare Technology sector. Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases to validate software quality and performance, particularly for healthcare technology products.
- Participate in both manual and automated testing processes to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize Python for scripting and building test automation frameworks, ensuring robust, scalable, and reliable automated pipelines.
- Design and perform comprehensive API testing, focusing on accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Conduct hands-on mobile testing across various platforms, including web, mobile web, and native mobile applications.
- Document test results thoroughly, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports, maintaining clear communication with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to enhance product quality and address issues promptly.
- Influence testing strategies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing, preferably within healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and functional testing practices.
- Proficiency with Python for test scripting and automation tasks.
- Experience designing and executing API tests and working with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, XCUITest, or Espresso.
- Demonstrated ability in mobile testing across multiple platforms.
- Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to produce comprehensive QA documentation, including bug tracking and test case management.
- Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing consumer-facing applications across web, mobile web, and native mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with containerized microservices, especially within Google Cloud Platform environments such as Cloud Run.
- Exposure to testing frameworks used for React and FastAPI-based applications.
