Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) to join our remote team on a full-time basis. Operating from Baltimore, MD, this role is essential for ensuring the reliability, usability, and performance of our digital platforms, including both mobile applications and web-based solutions. The Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) will play a key part in maintaining high standards throughout our software development lifecycle, directly contributing to a seamless user experience for our customers.
Responsibilities- Thoroughly execute structured usability testing scenarios across both mobile and web platforms to ensure all features and functionalities operate as intended.
- Accurately document any bugs, glitches, or user experience issues, providing clear and concise feedback for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to communicate findings, facilitate swift resolution of issues, and verify implemented fixes.
- Validate that software features are fully compatible with a wide range of devices, browsers, and screen sizes to deliver a consistent experience for all users.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily or weekly reports summarizing testing outcomes, identified issues, and actionable recommendations for product improvement.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow structured instructions and testing protocols.
- Comfort and proficiency with remote working tools and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with app ecosystems and general web technologies.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device capable of supporting testing activities.
