Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) to join our remote team on a full-time basis. The Quality Assurance Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our digital platforms deliver exceptional user experiences and meet high standards of functionality. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough usability testing on both mobile and web platforms, identifying and documenting any issues, and collaborating closely with development teams to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios for both mobile and web-based applications to assess the overall user experience and software functionality.
- Identify, document, and categorize bugs, glitches, and user experience issues with clear, concise descriptions, including steps to reproduce and relevant screenshots or recordings when applicable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams by communicating issues, feedback, and suggestions for enhancements, ensuring prompt resolution and effective follow-up.
- Verify that software features work consistently and efficiently across a variety of devices, operating systems, browsers, and screen sizes to maximize accessibility and performance.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing testing activities, issues encountered, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to following structured testing procedures and instructions.
- Proficiency with remote collaboration tools and familiarity with various app ecosystems, including both Android and iOS, as well as web platforms.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a closely related field is preferred, but not required.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and access to necessary equipment, such as a desktop, laptop, or mobile device for testing purposes.
