QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated QA Tester to join our remote quality assurance team on a full-time basis for our operations in Buffalo, NY. The QA Tester will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and overall user experience of our applications and websites. Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive usability testing across both mobile and web-based platforms to verify software performance and user experience consistency.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and other user experience concerns in a clear and organized manner, enabling efficient issue resolution.
- Collaborate directly with development and design teams to communicate findings, provide constructive feedback, and support the resolution of identified issues.
- Verify that all features and functions of the software are operational and consistent across a wide range of devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing testing activities, findings, and recommendations for improvements.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to meticulously follow structured processes and instructions.
- Experience with remote work tools and familiarity with the processes associated with app and web ecosystems.
- Prior experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related discipline is preferred and will be advantageous in this role.
- Reliable internet connection and access to appropriate testing devices, such as a desktop, laptop, or mobile device.
