QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our remote team as a QA Tester. In this full-time role based in Winston–Salem, NC, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and usability of our digital platforms, including both mobile applications and websites. As a QA Tester, your primary focus will be on thoroughly evaluating user experience and functionality, as well as providing actionable feedback to enhance product performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing scenarios on mobile and web platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and operating systems.
- Carefully document any bugs, glitches, or user experience issues encountered during the testing process, providing clear and concise descriptions for development teams.
- Collaborate with software development teams to communicate findings, clarify requirements, and offer constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Verify that new and existing software features function as intended across a range of browsers, screen resolutions, and device types.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports outlining test results, identified issues, and recommendations for optimizing digital product quality.
- Demonstrated ability to follow structured testing instructions and maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout all phases of the QA process.
- Comfort and proficiency with remote work tools, as well as a strong understanding of mobile and web app ecosystems.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related technical field is preferred and will be considered an asset.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a desktop, laptop, or mobile device capable of running the required applications and tools.
