IT Change Analyst (ITIL) Position OverviewIDR is seeking an experienced IT Change Analyst (ITIL) for a long-term contract opportunity with an industry-leading client in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional interested in technology, IT processes, and organizational change management. As an IT Change Analyst (ITIL), you will play a crucial role in supporting and managing the client’s Change Management lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective communication among cross-functional teams. Responsibilities- Review and process change requests using the BMC Remedy ITSM platform in accordance with established Change Management procedures.
- Maintain and update Change Management templates to ensure consistency and compliance with organizational standards.
- Manage system user access, safeguarding proper authorization and security related to change activities.
- Provide first-level support for general Change Management inquiries and tool usage, serving as a resource for internal teams.
- Prepare and distribute weekly change communications to internal stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed of upcoming changes and their potential impact.
- Build and sustain strong working relationships across the client's teams to promote a collaborative approach to change management.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, including applications, databases, and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, specifically ITIL concepts and frameworks.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, and time management to balance multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Direct experience with ITIL-based Change Management processes.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy or ServiceNow for managing change requests and related workflows.
- Reporting and analytical experience utilizing platforms like Tableau, SAP Business Objects, or similar tools to interpret and present change data.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs) and the relationships between configuration items.
