Key Responsibilities
- Develop and cultivate leads to generate new business opportunities for property and casualty insurance products.
- Schedule and conduct client appointments to assess individual and business insurance needs.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate insurance solutions tailored to their needs.
- Market a full range of insurance products and services, ensuring clients have access to comprehensive coverage options.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by providing responsive, reliable, and friendly service.
- Follow up with clients to address questions, provide policy updates, and ensure satisfaction with their coverage.
- Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Active West Virginia Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in property and casualty sales is required.
- Previous experience in sales (including outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas or goals is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a drive to achieve individual and team success.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively to clients.
