Project Manager (Power Generation) - Summary
- Manage power generation projects from receipt of purchase through to final customer acceptance.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external customers to ensure successful, timely project completion.
- Lead project reviews, confirm bill of materials, cost estimates, and technical requirements.
- Procure necessary equipment and services, including managing vendor relationships.
- Support business growth in line with company strategy and core values.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive project reviews to verify accuracy of bill of materials, cost estimates, and terms & conditions.
- Collaborate with the sales and management teams to resolve any project-related conflicts or misunderstandings.
- Ensure technical specifications and customer requirements are met with every project quote and estimate.
- Work directly with customers to secure submittal approval, manage release for manufacturing, and address all project-related inquiries.
- Issue purchase orders to vendors for procurement of all required equipment and components.
- Coordinate logistics and procurement of shipping services to ensure equipment is delivered according to customer timelines.
- Perform invoicing for all delivered goods and services, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Participate in company safety programs and promote a culture of workplace safety.
- Handle additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project manager or engineer in the electric power industry or a related technical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Proven project management experience with diesel & gaseous engines, generator sets, paralleling switchgear, automatic transfer switches (ATS), or similar projects.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience with direct customer contact and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and power generation systems.
