Project Manager (PMP) - Summary- Oversees end-to-end execution of power generation projects, including generators, ATS, paralleling switchgear, and related systems.
- Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet technical and customer requirements.
- Coordinates with multiple teams and stakeholders to drive project success and client satisfaction.
- Manages procurement, scheduling, and project financials.
- Position involves frequent travel and offers exposure to a variety of project sites and customer environments.
- Review new project orders for accuracy in bills of materials, cost estimates, and contractual terms.
- Validate technical specifications against customer requirements and quoted scopes of work.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering to resolve scope discrepancies, gaps, or risks.
- Manage the complete project lifecycle, from purchase order issuance through final customer acceptance.
- Obtain and track submittal approvals and manufacturing release authorizations.
- Issue purchase orders and manage procurement for all necessary equipment and services.
- Coordinate logistics, including vendor shipping and delivery scheduling to ensure timely project progression.
- Maintain and monitor project timelines, ensuring adherence to all key milestones and deliverables.
- Support accurate invoicing for delivered goods and services and monitor project financials.
- Communicate regular project status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively resolve project issues and challenges to avoid delays or additional costs.
- Participate in company safety programs and ensure full compliance with safety standards and regulations.

- High school diploma or equivalent is required; bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' project management or engineering experience within the electric power industry or a related technical sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical power generation systems, including diesel and gaseous generators, ATS, and paralleling switchgear.
- Experience managing customer-facing projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with diverse teams.
- Customer service orientation with a sense of urgency and ownership of project outcomes.
- Experience with Caterpillar or similar OEM ecosystems is considered an advantage.
- Detail-oriented and proactive project leader with a proven track record in delivering complex, technical projects.
