Project Manager Estimator Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager Estimator to join our team in Manheim, PA. This full-time position plays a key role in managing awarded projects and orders from initiation to completion, ensuring that each project meets established timelines, budgetary guidelines, and client expectations. As a Project Manager Estimator, you will support the achievement of sales and financial goals while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new customer connections to support business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Estimating, Programming, Purchasing, and Operations, to ensure that project lead times, quality standards, and profitability targets are consistently achieved.
- Support and uphold all Quality Management System requirements alongside any specific customer requirements to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
- Ensure that all necessary job activation requirements are met prior to the start of each project or order.
- Participate in daily production meetings and weekly capacity planning sessions to stay aligned with project timelines and resource allocations.
- Oversee projects to guarantee the quality of work, adherence to established budgets and timelines, and compliance with project specifications.
- Manage subcontractors as required, ensuring that quality, lead time, and profitability standards are maintained, and verify all subcontractor invoices for accuracy.
- Oversee contract billings and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices, ensuring correct cost coding and accurate financial documentation.
- Review job cost reports to monitor progress in relation to initial estimates, and prepare profit projections as projects advance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of project and organizational success.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety rules, maintaining a professional, ethical, and courteous demeanor at all times as a representative of the company.
- Three to five years of related experience in project management and estimating, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships and collaborating with internal teams.
- Proficient in reviewing and analyzing job cost reports, as well as preparing accurate profit projections throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience in managing subcontractors and overseeing billing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
