Project Engineer - Summary- Oversee and manage power generation and electrical systems projects from inception through to final client acceptance, ensuring all technical and contractual requirements are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications, while proactively addressing potential issues to maintain project integrity and client satisfaction.
- Manage assigned power generation projects through all phases, from scope review to project closeout.
- Review and interpret project scopes, bills of materials, pricing, technical specifications, and contractual obligations upon award.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring that milestones and delivery commitments are achieved on time.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities among engineering, operations, sales, customers, manufacturers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Identify, track, and resolve project issues before they impact schedules or customer expectations.
- Conduct thorough reviews of customer specifications and technical requirements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Verify equipment selection and project documentation align fully with customer needs and project objectives.
- Lead and support technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders as needed.
- Ensure all equipment and solutions meet applicable engineering, operational, and safety standards.
- Manage submittal packages, secure necessary approvals, oversee equipment releases, and handle project communications efficiently.
- Coordinate procurement activities, issue purchase orders for necessary equipment and services, and manage associated logistics.
- Oversee shipping schedules and delivery coordination to project sites or customer locations.
- Provide regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong and positive customer relationships.
- Monitor project costs, maintain budget awareness, and support project invoicing and documentation requirements.
- Assist in project closeout activities, ensuring all deliverables are met and final customer acceptance is secured.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, project engineering, or related roles within the power generation, electrical systems, or industrial equipment sectors.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills essential for managing complex projects.
- Demonstrated ability to review and interpret technical documents, project scopes, and specifications.
- Experience with power generation systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel up to 50% as required by project demands.
