Program Manager (Defense) PMP - Summary- Lead the execution of complex defense development programs from initiation through delivery.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and Department of War representatives.
- Ensure disciplined program execution in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

- Drive customer satisfaction and compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee all contractual requirements and program deliverables.

- Serve as the primary interface for contractual, status, and execution matters with the customer.
- Establish and maintain integrated program plans involving engineering, testing, manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and subcontractor teams.
- Track and drive program performance metrics related to cost, schedule, and technical results.
- Facilitate and lead program milestones, risk management reviews, design reviews, and customer meetings.
- Develop, maintain, and oversee program baselines, including budgeting, staffing, and deliverable schedules.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks, issues, and opportunities while driving corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with Chief Engineer and functional leaders to align technical, financial, and schedule objectives.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring technical and contractual deliverables are met.
- Maintain compliance with contract requirements, security protocols, and internal processes.
- Drive decision-making processes, escalate program execution challenges, and develop recovery and strategy recommendations for executive and customer review.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
- Active Secret Clearance and proof of U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
- Valid U.S. Passport required for occasional domestic and international travel (up to 25%).
- Demonstrated success leading complex defense programs involving hardware, software, integration, and testing.
- Deep understanding of defense acquisition, regulated environments, and program execution best practices.
- Proven ability to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance simultaneously.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, supply chain, contracts, finance, and quality).
- Proficiency in subcontractor management and integrated program planning.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, milestone execution, and customer communication strategies.
- Familiarity with DoW contracts, contract modifications, and development-phase execution.
- Knowledge of contract types and regulations: FAR 15, 16, OT & CPFF, FFP, and T&M.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable program strategies for diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with weapons systems, munitions, missile systems, UAS/C-UAS, or defense electronics is highly desirable.
