IDR is seeking a Program Manager (PgM) to join one of our top clients in Denver, CO, on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
- Program Strategy and Planning: Define the strategic direction of assigned programs, establish clear objectives, determine project scope, and develop comprehensive roadmaps and timelines. Ensure program alignment with organizational goals from inception to successful delivery.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead and motivate diverse teams, including project managers, developers, architects, QA professionals, and business analysts. Foster a collaborative environment where all team members share a common vision and have the resources needed to achieve program objectives.
- Financial Oversight: Manage program budgets by tracking expenditures, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Deliver programs within financial parameters while maximizing business value for stakeholders.
- Stakeholder and Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, senior leadership, and delivery teams. Facilitate effective communication, set clear expectations, and resolve conflicts as they arise to ensure smooth program execution.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks through established risk management frameworks. Maintain detailed decision logs, document assumptions, and develop contingency plans to address potential challenges.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation such as progress reports, risk assessments, and budget updates. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership, keeping all parties informed of program progress and any emerging issues.
Required Qualifications
- 12–15+ years of overall professional experience, including at least 5+ years in program or portfolio management roles overseeing large-scale, end-to-end programs.
- Demonstrated experience supporting clients within capital markets and financial domains.
- Exposure to legacy system modernization projects and the application development life cycle.
