Production Operator Job OverviewThe Production Operator, Full-time, plays a crucial role in supporting the safe and efficient manufacturing and packaging of products to exacting quality standards. This position is integral to maintaining optimal workflow and ensuring that all company and regulatory procedures are rigorously followed. As a Production Operator, you will be expected to work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure products meet customer and company specifications, all while upholding best practices and safety standards in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate machinery and equipment, including forklifts and related tools, in accordance with established safety and operational guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain product quality, ensuring all output meets defined specifications and company standards.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting loads up to 80 lbs, frequent pushing and pulling, and repeated body movement as required by daily operations.
- Adhere strictly to chemical handling protocols and use supplies according to detailed instructions and safety datasheets.
- Participate in regular safety and operational meetings to stay informed of best practices and procedural updates.
- Support and enforce all company policies and governmental regulations, including OSHA standards, to foster a safe and compliant workplace.
- Demonstrate essential skills in interpersonal communication, memory, attention to detail, comprehension, following directions, reading, writing, speaking, evaluating, mathematics, organizing, and innovation.
- Physical stamina and capability to work on your feet for eight or more hours per shift.
- Ability to safely lift a minimum of 80 lbs as part of routine duties.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is preferred, with training provided as needed.
- Bilingual communication skills are valued and can enhance effectiveness in a diverse production environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions are essential for success in this Full-time Production Operator role.
This is a Full-time position, with work hours scheduled from Monday to Friday. The work environment is fast-paced and requires both individual focus and teamwork to meet production goals. The Production Operator will routinely engage in physically demanding tasks, making physical fitness and endurance important attributes for this role.
