Production Associate - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment used in the fabrication of light gauge steel framing products, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and maintenance
- Monitor production machinery to assemble or process steel framing components according to specifications
- Inspect raw materials and finished products for defects or inconsistencies to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Measure materials accurately for outbound shipments and document findings accordingly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE on the warehouse floor
- Communicate effectively with fellow team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
- Participate in routine checks and maintenance of machinery to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency
- Adhere to company policies and production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks

Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior manufacturing experience required, with metal production experience considered a plus
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Successful completion of a tape measure test and math assessment
- Must own and wear steel toe boots on the job
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to consistently wear PPE on the warehouse floor
