As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for operating machinery, handling materials, and collaborating with team members to meet daily output goals. Your primary tasks will include monitoring production equipment, assembling or processing steel framing components, and ensuring machines are correctly set up and calibrated. You will inspect both raw materials and finished products for any defects or inconsistencies, making sure all items meet the established quality standards. Additionally, you will measure materials to specification for outbound shipments and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to maintain smooth operations.
In this role, safety is of utmost importance. As a Production Associate, you are expected to adhere to all safety protocols, wear personal protective equipment (PPE) on the warehouse floor, and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will also be required to pass a drug screening, a tape measure and math test, and submit to a background check to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Steel toe boots are mandatory for this position, and other PPE will be provided.
