Usability Analyst Job DescriptionOur organization is currently seeking a dedicated Usability Analyst to join our remote Quality Assurance (QA) team on a full-time basis in Houston, TX. As a Usability Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall effectiveness and user-friendliness of our digital platforms, including websites and mobile applications. Your primary mission will be to assess the user experience, identify usability issues, and provide actionable feedback that helps enhance our digital products for users nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing on a range of digital products, including web and mobile platforms, to evaluate functionality and the overall user experience.
- Systematically document any bugs, glitches, or user interface challenges, ensuring that all findings are clearly communicated for ease of understanding and resolution.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional development teams to relay observations, report issues, and offer constructive feedback aimed at improving product usability.
- Analyze user interactions and behavioral data to uncover patterns and recommend areas for enhancement in product design and functionality.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports that summarize usability findings and provide recommendations for continuous product improvement.
- Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to following structured testing procedures and guidelines.
- Demonstrated comfort and proficiency with remote collaboration tools and an understanding of fundamental product design principles.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, usability analysis, or a related digital field is preferred.
- Dependable internet connectivity and access to a computer or mobile device, ensuring consistent participation in remote testing activities.
