Primary Care Physician (PCP) Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (PCP) to join our mission-driven, physician-led organization in Orlando, FL. As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive outpatient care to a senior patient population, contributing to the transformation of healthcare delivery in the community. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care to a panel of up to 450 senior patients, focusing on those with multiple chronic conditions.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage ongoing care for seniors with complex medical needs.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated care team, including a medical assistant, scheduler, and referral specialist, to ensure seamless patient care and support.
- Deliver care in a 100% outpatient setting, with no required night or weekend shifts.
- Maintain a manageable patient schedule, seeing approximately 18 patients per day, with administrative time incorporated into your workday.
- Engage in value-based care initiatives, focusing on quality outcomes and preventive health for the senior population.
- Participate in partnership opportunities within the organization, with most physicians becoming partners within 12-18 months, further advancing their careers.
- Utilize in-house consulting specialists and holistic health services, such as cardiology, podiatry, acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Contribute to the organization’s mission of honoring seniors with affordable, VIP-level care that delivers better health outcomes.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality, value-based care to a diverse senior patient population.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated dedication to continuous learning and professional growth in the field of primary care medicine.
