Join an innovative healthcare organization as a Primary Care Physician (PCP) in Pine Bluff, AR. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services to adult and senior patients, with a focus on value-based care and positive health outcomes.
- Manage a panel of up to 650 patients, primarily seniors with multiple chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension.
- See an average of 10-12 patients per day in an outpatient clinic setting, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Utilize a collaborative care team model including medical assistants, schedulers, referral specialists, and strong support from leadership.
- Participate in a call schedule determined by the number of providers in the market (e.g., 1:32 weeks if 32 providers).
- Ensure patient satisfaction, uphold the organization’s core values, and comply with HEDIS measures.
- Work proactively to reduce hospitalizations and promote preventive health strategies, including facilitating wellness activities for seniors.
- Perform general office procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care as needed.
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM).
- Active, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine.
- Current registration with the DEA.
- Strong proficiency in common outpatient procedures and electronic health records.
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is a plus but not required.
