Primary Care Physician (PCP) Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (PCP) for a full-time opportunity in Philadelphia, PA. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to a senior population, focusing on managing chronic conditions and promoting preventive care.
- Maintain a patient panel with a maximum of 450 patients, allowing for highly personalized care and relationship-building with patients.
- See an average of 18 patients per day in a supportive clinical environment, with dedicated administrative time built into your schedule.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including your own medical assistant, scheduler, and referral specialist to ensure streamlined patient care.
- Participate in value-based care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care delivered.
- Utilize in-house consulting specialists, such as cardiology and podiatry, to provide comprehensive care to your patients.
- Engage in holistic health services offered by the clinic, including acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutritional counseling, for a well-rounded approach to patient wellness.
- Adhere to a Monday through Friday schedule with clinic hours from 7:30am to 5:00pm, ensuring work-life balance with no required nights or weekends.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
- Experience or interest in working with senior populations, particularly those managing multiple chronic conditions.
- Spanish language skills are preferred but not required.
