Primary Care Physician (PCP) Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (PCP) to join our team on a full-time basis in Tucson, AZ. As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, value-based healthcare to the Medicare patient population within our innovative network of neighborhood primary care centers. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver primary care services to a diverse Medicare patient population, emphasizing preventive care and chronic disease management.
- Work collaboratively within a team-based care environment that includes scribes, medical assistants, and social workers to ensure patients receive coordinated, comprehensive care.
- Utilize value-based care models to focus on patient outcomes, low hospital admissions, and quality metrics.
- Maintain a patient volume of approximately 13-16 patients per day, allowing for personalized attention and care.
- Conduct regular visits with 20-minute appointments and provide thorough, 40-minute diagnostic and new patient evaluations as needed.
- Leverage onsite resources such as laboratories with phlebotomy services and access to specialist consultations through RubiconMD.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems including Canopy and Greenway to accurately document patient interactions and clinical information.
- Participate in community outreach programs and patient activities hosted in the clinic’s community room, contributing to a supportive and engaging environment.
- Support transportation solutions for patients within a 5-mile radius to improve access to care.
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.
- Active, unrestricted, and non-probationary state medical license.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required to best serve our patient population.
- Completion of fellowship training in Geriatrics is preferred but not required.
- This position is not open to medical residents.

Our Tucson, AZ facility offers an engaging and supportive work environment, with an average of 3-5 providers per clinic, including a mix of Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Primary Care Physicians (PCPs).
