We are seeking a qualified Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join a dynamic healthcare team in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a full-time outpatient position focused on value-based care, serving a senior patient population with complex medical needs. As a Primary Care Physician in Oklahoma City, OK, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a patient-centered environment that prioritizes respect, collaboration, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to an assigned panel of senior patients, typically managing 10-12 patients per day.
- Deliver care within a value-based model, focusing on quality, patient satisfaction, and health outcomes.
- Utilize a multidisciplinary care team including medical assistants, schedulers, referral specialists, and receive strong support from clinical leadership.
- Perform office-based procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care as needed.
- Collaborate with care team members to optimize patient health, reduce unnecessary hospitalizations, and improve HEDIS compliance metrics.
- Document clinical care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record system.
- Participate in a rotating call schedule; frequency is based on the number of physicians in the Oklahoma City, OK market.
- Engage in activities and programs designed to enhance patient wellness, including exercise and art sessions offered at no cost to patients.
- Uphold the company's mission and values through compassionate, evidence-based care and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM).
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is a plus, but not required.
- Current, unrestricted, and active medical license to practice medicine in Oklahoma.
- Current DEA registration required.
- Proficiency in office-based procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care.
- Strong commitment to providing patient-centered care within a value-based healthcare model.
