Primary Care Physician (MD/DO, FM/IM) – Tucson, AZ – Full-time About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO, FM/IM) to join our innovative healthcare team in Tucson, AZ. Our organization is committed to enhancing the well-being of our patients through best-in-class care delivered at modern, accessible neighborhood clinics. As a valued member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing patient-centered, value-based primary care to a diverse community, with a special focus on senior patients managing complex medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care services to a panel of up to 650 patients, primarily seniors with multiple chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension.
- Work within a value-based care model, focusing on quality of care, patient satisfaction, and improved health outcomes.
- Manage an average daily patient volume of 10-12, allowing for thorough and personalized patient visits.
- Collaborate closely with your dedicated care team, including medical assistants, schedulers, referral specialists, and supportive leadership, to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Participate in a fair and manageable call schedule, determined by the number of physicians in the market, to ensure work-life balance.
- Utilize proficiency in office-based procedures, including suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care, as needed for patient care.
- Support the organization’s mission of fostering wellness-focused communities through patient engagement and participation in health-promoting activities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) required.
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is a plus but not required.
- Possess a current, unrestricted, and active license to practice medicine in the state of Arizona.
- Hold valid and current DEA registration.
- Demonstrate proficiency in common office procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care.

- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with minimal call responsibilities.
