Primary Care Physician (MD/DO, FM/IM) – Greensboro, NC – Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD/DO, FM/IM) to join an innovative healthcare team in Greensboro, NC. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care services to a panel of senior patients, many with multiple chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension.
- Practice within a value-based care model aimed at improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain a manageable patient load, averaging 10-12 patients per day, with a maximum panel size of 650 patients.
- Collaborate closely with your own dedicated care team, including a medical assistant, scheduler, referral specialist, and support from clinic leadership.
- Utilize strong clinical skills, including office-based procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care.
- Adhere to a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing consistent and accessible care to your patients.
- Participate in a call schedule determined by the number of providers in the market (example: 1:32 weeks if 32 physicians).
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by supporting HEDIS compliance, reducing hospital admissions, and practicing in alignment with company values.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM).
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is valued but not required.
- Current, unrestricted, active medical license to practice medicine in North Carolina.
- Current DEA registration.
- Proficiency in office-based procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and wound care.
