We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO, FM/IM) to join our innovative healthcare team in Tulsa, OK. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to a senior patient population, typically managing individuals with multiple chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension.
- Deliver care within a value-based model, focusing on patient outcomes, satisfaction, and quality of life improvements.
- Maintain a manageable patient panel size, averaging 10-12 patients per day, with a maximum of 650 patients in total.
- Collaborate with a dedicated care team, including medical assistants, schedulers, referral specialists, and leadership to ensure seamless patient care and support.
- Perform common office procedures including suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care.
- Participate in a shared call schedule, with frequency based on the number of providers in the market, ensuring a balanced work-life experience.
- Engage in ongoing activities to improve patient satisfaction, comply with HEDIS measures, and contribute to reducing hospital admissions and sick days.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM).
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is a plus, but not required.
- Current, unrestricted, and active license to practice medicine in Oklahoma.
- Valid DEA registration.
- Proficient skills in common outpatient procedures as required for primary care.
