Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Summary- Locum tenens, full-time Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) position in Tucson, AZ
- Focus on outpatient care for adult and senior patients
- Collaborative, value-based care model emphasizing prevention and chronic disease management
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care to adult and senior patient populations
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Promote wellness and preventive care strategies
- Coordinate individualized care plans with NPs, MAs, and health coaches
- Engage in daily team huddles, meetings, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
- Strive to achieve organizational benchmarks such as HEDIS and STAR measures
- Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with patients for continuity of care
- Competitive hourly rate of $150 per hour
- Paid travel and lodging accommodations provided by the company
- Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule (no nights or weekends)
- 100% outpatient practice setting
- Consistent patient load of 12–14 patients per day
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Active Arizona medical license and DEA certification
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Experience in value-based care or senior-focused care models preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
