This role is based onsite and focuses on delivering value-based care to senior patients in Brownsville, TX. Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and senior patients within a value-based care model.
- Manage a daily patient panel of 12–18, ensuring each patient receives thorough and individualized attention through longer appointment times.
- Collaborate effectively with an integrated support team to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.
- Utilize a proprietary electronic medical record (EMR) system to document encounters and support clinical decision-making.
- Participate in proactive care planning, focusing on preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
- Contribute to a positive clinic culture that prioritizes patient outcomes and physician satisfaction.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.
- Active Texas medical license preferred; candidates eligible for Texas licensure will also be considered.
- Demonstrated passion for senior care and commitment to team-based medicine.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to commit to a minimum three-month assignment, with the potential for conversion to a full-time position.
