Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity in Orlando, FL. As a physician-led and mission-driven primary care organization, our team is committed to providing high-quality, value-based healthcare to seniors, particularly those with complex needs. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to a patient panel primarily composed of seniors, typically managing 3-5 chronic diseases per patient.
- Maintain a manageable patient panel size of up to 450 patients, averaging around 18 patients per day, to ensure personalized attention and high-quality care.
- Provide 100% outpatient care, with a consistent Monday through Friday work schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and the last patient scheduled by 4:15 PM.
- Utilize dedicated administrative time included in the daily schedule to support patient care quality and work/life balance.
- Collaborate with a dedicated care team, including a Medical Assistant, Scheduler, and Referral Specialist, to streamline patient services and maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate care with in-house consulting specialists such as Cardiology and Podiatry, and support holistic health services including acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling.
- Engage in value-based care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Uphold the organization's mission and values through compassionate, patient-centered medical practice.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) required.
- Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) is required.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Strong commitment to serving the senior population and managing chronic disease.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
