Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our mission-driven healthcare team in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services to a senior patient panel, managing a maximum of 450 patients with complex and chronic health needs.
- Conduct patient visits during standard clinic hours, Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekend shifts required, ensuring work/life balance.
- Provide value-based care aimed at improving patient outcomes, focusing on seniors with multiple chronic diseases.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team, including dedicated medical assistants, schedulers, and referral specialists, to provide coordinated and efficient patient care.
- Utilize administrative time included in the daily schedule for charting, care coordination, and patient follow-up.
- Participate in partnership opportunities offered within the organization, with many physicians achieving partner status within 12-18 months of employment.
- Refer patients to in-house consulting specialists and holistic health services, such as cardiology, podiatry, acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition support, as appropriate.
- Ensure high standards of clinical care and compliance with all applicable medical guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Ohio.
- Openness to candidates requiring visa sponsorship.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, value-based primary care practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on delivering holistic and culturally sensitive care.
