Primary Care Physician (IM, Med/Peds, or Family Medicine) Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (IM, Med/Peds, or Family Medicine) to join our established outpatient private practice. This opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible physician specializing in Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, or Family Medicine who is looking for a supportive and collaborative environment with a strong patient base. As a Primary Care Physician (IM, Med/Peds, or Family Medicine), you will have the opportunity to take over a retiring physician’s established patient panel, ensuring continuity of care and a smooth transition for patients and staff alike. This full-time, outpatient-only position is designed for those who are passionate about providing high-quality, comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct patient examinations, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and monitor ongoing health concerns.
- Work closely with a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) to deliver coordinated care.
- Utilize in-house laboratory and EKG services to support patient diagnosis and management.
- Document patient encounters and medical records accurately using Veradigm EHR.
- Participate in a minimal call rotation (1:5), with calls managed from home and rare overnight requirements.
- Engage in continuous communication with support staff to ensure workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Provide patient education and preventive care guidance to promote long-term wellness.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, or Family Medicine.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, or Family Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted medical license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster a positive patient and team experience.
- Proficiency with electronic health records; experience with Veradigm EHR is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- 35+ years of established private practice with a loyal, multi-generational patient population.
- Modern facilities with robust in-house diagnostic resources to support patient care.
- Support from experienced physicians and advanced practice providers to promote mentorship and collaboration.
- Efficient, dedicated support staff to optimize clinical workflow and reduce administrative burden.
- Outpatient-only practice model with no hospital rounding required.
